InkDom is a free map game in the browser, made by Valentin. This page says what we keep when you play, including if you sign in with Google.

Your account

You can play as a guest. A guest has a temporary account so your land stays on that device until you save it. When you save with an email and password, we store that email and a password hash, and the land stays on the same account.

If you choose Continue with Google, Google sends InkDom the email address and basic profile on that Google account (your name, through the openid, email, and profile permissions). We use that only to sign you in and to keep your land on that login. Supabase Auth stores the Google sign-in for us. We do not sell Google user data, use it for ads, or share it with anyone except the services that run the game.

What the game stores

• Your player name, land, season progress, and alliance.
• Messages you send in game chat or in help chat.
• A push subscription, only if you allow notifications in the browser.

That data lives in Supabase so the same account can open the map on another device.

Analytics

On inkdom.io we use Google Analytics for Firebase to see which screens people use and whether a signup or a first claim happened. We do not run analytics on localhost. If you arrive from a Reddit ad, a Reddit pixel can record that visit and a signup. These tools receive a page address and event names, not your password.

The map

The map is drawn from OpenStreetMap, OpenFreeMap, and OpenMapTiles. Loading a tile sends your request to those map hosts. InkDom does not sell that traffic.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal information. The people who can see account and game data are the services that host InkDom: Supabase for accounts and game data, Google for sign-in, hosting, and analytics, and the email service that sends a welcome note after you save progress. Other players see your player name, land, and chat, because that is the game.

How long we keep it

We keep an account while you play. A guest account stays until you save it or it is removed. You can ask us to delete your account and the land on it.
